The concept of Bao Bao Issey Miyake is the reference for the shape of the building. By applying the function of folded, light, soft, and minimalist to the design, it breaks theimpression of hard and heavy materials for library structure.

Based on the client’s interests, minimalist material, and color applied to the interior space. The floor with fabric represents concrete that a similar color extends the space to the ceiling.

The folded structure makes the roof flexible which function is related to the importance of light to the library. Since the light intensity and sun angle change by the time, the folded roof has the ability to adjust to a suitable view.
